Alpenkantine in Hamburg

The latte macchiato caramel was very tasty there, but at € 4.90 it was absolutely overpriced. Just a few streets away you can get the same for only € 3.10 ...

Breakfast was delicious and the service was super friendly. Can I definitely recommend.

A piece of the Alps in the heart of Eimsbüttel. I really enjoy being here. The food tastes great and there are great drinks like Almdudler. The only minor drawback is that the prices are a bit more expensive. But that is no reason not to give the Alpenkantine a try.

Unfortunately a bit overrated for the portion size. Really fluctuates between "world class" and "mediocre".

Ordered a food there trough Lieferando. First of all delivery time was 66 minutes (in the website it says 30 min). After the food was finally delivered, I got dumplings with spinach instead of pork.. And schnitzel was completely burned... Very disappointing. If you have an option better order somewhere else.

The first schnitzel was black at one end and very dark brown all around at the bottom. The second was served on the same fried potatoes with the lemon already squeezed. thank you

Delicious food, everything is fresh and tastes great. Wine prices are a little high for being self service. The interior of the shop looks good and you can sit outside.

The staff is very accommodating! But unfortunately the dessert we took with us was a disaster! The compote is fermented and the Schupfnudeln totally burned, unfortunately inedible and for the price I would have really expected more and above all a somewhat larger portion :(

Good place for hearty food and a bottle of beer. Self-service and rustic atmosphere. Certainly not for everyone, but in my opinion a coherent concept. In addition, the prices are tolerable even for the small budget.

What a place! The food was phenomenal - we ordered spätzle, knödel and a kaiserschmarrn and everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were very big. If I could, I would eat there every day ;)

A very nice and cozy place. Very good food - typical Alpine cuisine. Quite a big crowd, sometimes you have to wait a bit (literally a few minutes) to sit down. Nice interior design. I will definitely come back here.

The place is called Alpenkantine, and indeed their Apfelstrudel tastes like the one on the slopes somewhere in Alps. The lunch options look very delicious, but haven't tried them yet. Will be back here again, in case around!

Nice little restaurant. Dishes and drinks are inspired by the Alpine region. You could choose from about 6-8 dishes. The menu card hangs behind the counter on the wall. Ordered and directly paid must also at the bar. The food is then brought. Whether the staff should save? There is a star deduction for that. I suspect that one should clear the used dishes themselves, as a harness box was set up. We definitely did it that way. Furthermore, it was unusually loud (noise), although the place is relatively small. Sometimes it was difficult to understand his counterpart. A large Wiener schnitzel gabs for 15.90 euros. Nevertheless, recommended!

Always great for dinner, both in the evening, as well as for coffee. The cheese noodles are very good, as are the dumplings.

Was fine. It’s self-service. We had the Kässpätzle and they were made with cream rather than cheese (though bakes just with cheese). Presentation was great and tasted fine also. Taking stars off for soupy cream filling and long wait times.

Nice place but a bit exaggerated in price and self-service, although the shop is quite manageable. Food is good and the coffee too :) Unfortunately no wifi either :(
